Huda Beauty Pledges to Donate $1 Million to Gaza

Founder Huda Kattan’s donation will help aid resources to Gazan civilians.

On Nov. 6, one month after Israel began bombing Gaza, Huda Beauty announced that the company’s brands, Huda Beauty, Kayali, and Wishful Skin, will donate $1 million to Gaza’s humanitarian organizations. Huda Beauty wrote on Instagram:

“It’s been A MONTH of immense suffering in Gaza, and unfortunately, things are getting worse.

It’s important that we always stand on the side of the oppressed & use our platform to shed light on any injustice. We cannot stand by & pretend like this is not happening.

Our Huda Beauty brands, including Huda Beauty, Kayali & WISHFUL, will be donating $1 Million to humanitarian organizations in Gaza.

This is only because of you that we are able to make this donation, so thank you for your support. Together, we can bring change.”

In another post on Nov. 9, Huda Beauty noted that they were having trouble finding resources and organizations that offer immediate, on-the-ground aid to civilians in Gaza. They decided to utilize Human Appeal and Doctors Without Borders. Human Appeal is dedicated to providing food, water, fuel, and hygiene kits to Gaza’s hospitals and ambulances. Doctors Without Borders will distribute medical care in Gaza as they have for over 20 years.
