To kick off Pride Month, La Salsa threw their second party during their residency at The Delancey to celebrate Puerto Ricans in the LGBTQ+ community. Powered by El Scenario, the party featured performances from iconic artists like Zabdiel, Nina Sky, and the Latin Drag Queens.

Spanning three floors, three parties, and one building, La Salsa embodied the heart of New York City's Puerto Rican culture. Every floor had its own vibe and energy, from live performances to DJ sets and entertaining hosts. Many Puerto Ricans, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community, have felt there is a gap in representation for them in the city’s nightlife — La Salsa is here to fill that gap.

The themed floors included Tropical, Principal, and Baja Mundo. Each floor brought a unique flair reminiscent of Salsa dancing in Miami, Top 40 Latin hits, and heavy-hitting perreo, reggaeton, and Diva House. DJs Flipstar, JoeytheGAWD, and an LGBTQ+ live Salsa band kept people on their feet to dance La Bomba all night — and we can’t forget the fruity drinks that reminded us of being on the beaches of San Juan.
