Midwestern Comfort at Melke FW25 ‘The Supper Club’
It truly felt like an all-you-can-eat buffet—literally and figuratively.

In the Midwest, it’s not pronounced “milk,” it’s pronounced “Melke.” Celebrating her fourth year in business, Emma Gage, a Minnesota native, was shaped by the Midwest's culture, hospitality, humor, and comfort. This season, Melke returns with The Supper Club, a nod to warmth, security, safety, and a sense of home. Gage partnered with Hidden Valley Ranch, and the presentation overwhelmed us (in a good way) with endless foods that went perfectly with the ranch fountain.
Although Gage is a born and bred Minnesotan, she combines “Minnesota Nice” with a sassy, chic New York grit to the collection. The Supper Club features soft tailoring, relaxed silhouettes, comforting plaids, and luxurious knits. Like most supper clubs, the space complemented each piece—with original wood paneling, vintage decor, and earthy tones.
Gage puts a twist on her signature power suits, including fringes on blazers, mid-length blazers, and neutral colors. She also adds clean pleats to skirts, dresses, and outerwear. The Midwest comfort that reminds us of our family members at holiday dinners is seen in knitted sweaters, sweater vests, retro button-downs, and wide-leg pants.

The Supper Club continues Melke’s signature food motif, with food-themed items such as tops and dresses with various food graphics, a subtle Hidden Valley Ranch button-down, a sweater vest and cardigan, a top with deviled eggs, crocheted green onions, and dresses and pants with actual silverware.
As viewers strolled through the cozy and whimsical room, it truly felt like an all-you-can-eat buffet—literally and figuratively. We were filled with an abundance of food, ranch dressing, and models eating and serving.
