Hailing from New Jersey, musician Cease made his debut with his newest single, “The Chase.” He brings a bi-coastal sound of a Detroit flow with notes of a melodic beat produced by 27CLUB.

Cease began making music about two years ago. He was inspired by constantly being in the recording studio with his friends and family. “My foot has been on the gas ever since,” he says.

“The Chase” is all about reaching for the stars and seeing the bigger picture of success. Within that comes a wider array of opportunities and ventures for the New Jersey musician. His storytelling is more like dream-catching; His manifestations are followed by hard work to achieve anything in his path.

Right now, I’m hustling a lot,” Cease says. “A lot of my music is hustle music.” And by hustle music, Cease isn’t referring to any fictional lyrics. With inspirations like his brother and rappers Jeezy and Jay-Z, Cease is all about getting to the money.

Before music, Cease worked in fashion, creating streetwear and athleisure designs for American Boy Inc. Today, Cease says he wants to blend his passion for music with other art forms like his fashion knowledge.

Consistency is Cease’s most important goal. He knows he needs to continue doing what he loves despite the ups and downs of the journey.

“I want to make sure I’m in tune with everybody around me and not act like I know everything because I don’t, he says. “I want to learn as much as I can because I know there’s a lot to learn.”

While he hasn’t performed live yet, Cease knows what he can tap into once he hits the stage.

“Once I hear the music, it’s a whole different feeling, and I might just turn into a different person while performing.”

As Cease continues kicking off after his debut, you can stream “The Chase” on all platforms.
