CLIP is Smoking a Blunt 2 The Face

Check out the new single produced by DrxftGod and EJ Stellar.

CLIP, our beloved e-girl, has not only been conquering the trap scene but has also emerged as a fierce alt-rock star. Her latest single and video, “2 The Face,” is a testament to her ever-expanding versatility. At the same time, she’s known for her mastery of the emo-trap, chronically online sound, “2 The Face,” produced by DrxftGod and EJ Stellar, ventures into the realm of dance and club tracks. As she sings, “It’s better off this way, Rick shades to mask my face,” and “Feeling kinda moody, smoke a blunt to the face,” we can’t help but turn up.

Donning her iconic Anna Bolina dress, CLIP transports us to a bygone era, reminiscent of Tokyo’s neon club scene in the early 2000s. Yet, she infuses this nostalgia with a modern twist, combining an upbeat tempo with the contemporary sounds of night core and stereo-breaking bass. Since her breakout from the 2020 hit, “Sad B!tch,” CLIP has been a pioneer, crafting her own genre and experimenting with unique sounds. This blend of past and present in her music is bound to evoke nostalgia and excitement in her loyal fanbase.

Since finishing a tour with Black Kray on his When Doves Kry tour, she’s taking off on a high note — landing festival tour dates at Summer Smash, Summerfest, Rolling Loud Europe, and more. Stream “2 The Face” and watch the video above.
