Tyler Aphex Takes You to Aphex World in “4x4”

Prepare to transcend to Tyler Aphex’s imaginary world, also known as Aphex World. His new single, “4x4,” takes listeners on Aphex’s journey during a creative burst on magic mushrooms. Along with co-producing the song with UK producer COLDSUMMER, Aphex’s beats and lyrics immerse you into a personal experience.

“I had never felt peace turn to pure terror so quickly, and after sitting with that for a while, I realized that being in love can really feel the same exact way,” says Aphex. “The love you share with someone can take hold of you and bring you to places you never knew existed. Places that once you experience them, sometimes you wish you hadn’t.”

“4x4” comes after the Kentucky-born, Atlanta-based musician’s debut release, “antisocial,” in August, which accumulated over 100,000 music video streams in the first few days after the release. He expects to release an EP within the next year.
