Duckwrth x Vitaly: When Stars Align

Duckwrth continues his multidisciplinary journey in his newest collaboration with the German jewelry brand Vitaly. When Stars Align seamlessly blends the Los Angeles artist’s love for music and high fashion. Duckwrth played a crucial role in his artistic vision throughout the creative and collaborative process.

When Stars Align features two exceptional pieces: the Hornstar x Duckwrth chain and the 11:30 x Duckwrth chain. The Hornstar pays homage to the iconic ball-and-chain choker with a modern twist. The 11:30 blends genuine stones, synthetic pearls, and spiked rivets. “Punk culture has always been my backbone,” he says.

“Since college, I’ve stayed in leather jackets and metal chokers. In this collaboration with Vitaly, I wanted to do my own spin on the classic Ball Chain Choker. So, I reimagined this design by adding my Hornstar emblem to it. The addition was enough to make this classic design feel completely brand new…One thing I do love as much as silver and hardware, is stones. Gems, Crystals, rare stones, I love how they look on humans. This was a design from Vitaly that I got to throw a little seasoning on. ‘11:30’ features blue, smoky white, purple, and smokey black stones, along with my HornStar emblem on the clasp. We called it 11:30 because the colors of the stones give ‘late night running the streets with your folks’ tones. Enjoy these offerings, designed by myself and Vitaly."

Duckwrth is known for incorporating his eclectic style into campaigns, such as those of Loewe and Adidas. His influence and ahead-of-its-time taste have crossed boundaries in the avant-garde brand that is Vitaly.
