You may know the term “grindin’” from Clipse’s and Pharrell’s iconic 2002 song. However, Pusha T is bringing the epochal term back — this time — with his new coffee brand. Launched in Los Angeles, Pusha T held an exclusive pop-up at Café Tropical, debuting Grindin Coffee and exclusive merch by Carhartt Work In Progress.

The name of the coffee is a play on Pusha T’s dedication to his career — no matter which venture that may be. He chose Café Tropical as Grindin’s distributor not only because of its cultural significance in the city but also because it was rumored to be a hotspot for cocaine dealing in the 1970s. Caffeine lovers also had the chance to try Grindin at Camp Flog Gnaw alongside merch.

“All my dreams and ideas start from my passions,” Pusha T says on Instagram. “Luckily, I have been able to find partnerships and platforms to help bring my visions to life. This is just a piece of me and how I start my day.”

Grindin’s strong, high-caffeine formula aims to promote concentration and focus and to literally be on your grind. It’s anticipated to be released in early 2025.
